Just a few reminders:
Field Day is scheduled for Wednesday, June 3-Please have your child wear clothes to play outside. Gym shoes please, no flip flops or sandals. The students will be doing relays that require running. Also, each student will need to bring a beach towel to sit on for lunch and to use later if they get wet. If it is sunny out on Wednesday, please apply sunscreen. If we get rained out, there will be no rain date.
Our banana split reward party will be on Thursday, June 4 in the afternoon. Students will be rewarded with ice cream and sundae toppings according to the number of multiplication/division time tests they have passed. We will continue to take tests right up until we have the reward party.
School awards are scheduled for Friday, June 5 at 9:30 am in the gym. Awards will be passed out for students who have been on the honor roll at least one time. Attendance awards will be given for students who have missed three days or less this school year. All are invited to attend. Please remember that all students will not receive an award in the gym. Students will only receive an award if they meet the honor roll and attendance requirements.
Students will start to clean out desks on Wednesday. Please make sure they have a backpack each day. We will send things home a little each day, so they are not overwhelmed with things on Friday.
Please continue to look for our class library books at home. Any books from our class will have my name in the front of the book. Thanks for your help with this. I know the students next year will appreciate it.
