Math Unit 2 assessment
We will be taking the assessment over unit 2 in math on Thursday. This test will cover multiplication and division facts and strategies used to solve story problems.
Candle Fundrasier
Information regarding the candle fundraiser will be sent home tomorrow. This fundraiser helps to reduce the cost of the Chicago trip. The fundraiser begins tomorrow and runs through Monday, October 12. Students will need to collect the money as they take orders. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Grandparent's Day
Don't forget about Grandparent's Day on Friday, September 25th from 1:30-2:30. If your child has not returned the form for Grandparent's Day, please do so as soon as possible. If your child is going home with a grandparent, they must have the permission slip returned.
Progress Reports
Progress Reports will be sent home on Thursday, September 24. Please look for your child's to come home on Thursday.

Vision Checks
All third grade students will have their vision checked on Tuesday, September 15. If your child wears glasses, please make sure they have them Tuesday morning.

Math Unit 1 Test
We will be taking our first test over Unit 1 in math on Friday. We will spend some time on Thursday reviewing concepts worked on this unit. Some things that you can review at home are telling time, multiplication facts with 2's, 5's, and 10's, rounding to the nearest 10 and 100, and finding the elapsed time.
